The word "accessorize" dates from 1939 though, clearly, headdresses, swords, and shields were the ultimate accessories well before there was a name for such.
Hayley is a jewelry designer with a penchant, not surprisingly, for accessorizing. She recently displayed
her work at
Finleaf Gallery. Her tailored white dress is the perfect backdrop for her creations....
And then, a look down reveals these sandals. En garde, demure white dress! I feel a tango coming on.

Meanwhile, her darling friend models more of Hayley's line, called
Hermosa, Spanish for "beautiful".....

My favourite bit of turquoise, though, was worn by the always hermosa Peg, owner of Finleaf, who tells me she is just back from a family trip to the Spanish territory you call California.

Lucky Mr. Peg to have a traveling companion such as this.
