You have, perhaps, heard of the
Red Hat Society....the
Big Hat Society....or perchance, the
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. As I stood by and watched these attractive be-hatted friends chatting, I fancied them members of some sort of like-minded society.
And though that may well be true (who indeed knows?), I'm thinking the hats were a happy coincidence, not a membership requirement.
