Bright & Sally....Mont Clare

I spent a most delightful New Year's Eve with my dear friends, Bright and Sally at their country house, Mont Clare, outside of Darlington, South Carolina. The words, "country house," do not in any way do justice to the stately sixteen foot ceilings, moldings to drool over and tasteful antiques. I thoroughly enjoyed the stimulating conversation over dinner, the roaring fires, and of course the flowing Veuve Clicquot. I left New Year's Day feeling refreshed and ready to take on a new year, not an easy feat at my age.

As for their attire: perfect gentleman farmer.
