High/Low....Garners Ferry

I'm a fan of those high/low features you see in style magazines. As one blog puts it, mixing high and low "brings democratization to fashion." Or perhaps not. At any rate, I love the mix and was delighted to happen on this example. It started with a conversation about the ballet flats.

LM: Are those Repettos?
Ms. High Low: No, from Walmart. Just $5. I bought them in every colour. They're great.
LM: And that bag?
Ms. High Low: From the dollar section at Target.
LM: Oh, but that watch...that surely wasn't a bargain.
Ms. High Low: No, I'm afraid it's Hermes.
