Jonathan...Fulton Lane, Charleston
Jonathan's suit comes from Ralph Lauren, Place de la Madeleine, Paris where he once found himself freezing the day before a party. Having only brought tropical, he popped in and picked out this suit.
Additional attire:
Tie: Hermes
Dress Shirt: Charvet
Loafers: Belgian Shoes
Jonathan told me the most interesting story about Belgian Shoes. After retiring as President of Henri Bendel (a specialty store founded by his uncle in 1909), Mr. Henri Bendel purchased two 300-year-old shoe manufacturing companies in Belgium in 1956. He then began producing a casual classic loafer that became a staple of New York fashion. The only store is at 60 East 56th Street in Manhatten. Jonathan once waited three years for a pair of loden green suede loafers.
