Michael....Main Street
I was already humming Noel Coward's "Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun" and sweating mightily, when I happened across this odd sight--a young man perched upon a fire hydrant.
Madness, indeed, I thought. Then I realized it was artist Michael Krajewski, a rather playful chap, but not mad in the least. He told me he was on the lookout for the editor of a woman's magazine, something named after an item of clothing, perhaps Bloomers or Capris or Hot Pants. I can't remember. At any rate, I was glad to see him, for as you may remember, my dear friend Millicent is a fan.
With Milli in mind, I asked him to pose so that we could take in his entire ensemble. He is rather the picture of cool, no?
