Top Hat....and Goggles

This dear young man told me the long history of his top hat and goggles, and I proceeded to misplace my notes. As best I remember, the hat is quite old. It once was run over by a truck. The young man meticulously repaired it. I don't know if you can make it out, but a photo is placed within the ribbon of the hat. The dear fellow told me it is a photo of his wife who died in a car accident. A touching memorial.
