Michael....The Arcade on Main

At first, I thought the gentleman was hoping to launch a new trend--mismatched shoes--one my chum Sir Hubert Egg had already attempted to inspire back in the summer, when he showed up at a pool party wearing a sandal on his left foot and a plaid plimsoll on his right.

Upon closer inspection, however, I determined that it all made perfect sense.  The gentleman was my friend, artist Michael Krajewski, and the shoe on his right foot was covered in paint. I was witnessing an occupational hazard not a fashion frivolity!
