Coco....Barbecue Trail

Though I missed catching a ride on The Barbecue Bus, I did fashion a trip of my own into the wilds of eastern North Carolina for a bit of lunch.  And that is where I encountered cute little Coco, who was sporting an adorable summer dress, one she proudly told me she'd just purchased for 75 percent off.  The fabric was a witty pattern made up of pelicans wearing caps. 

I was put in mind of an old limerick oft told to me when I was her age, by my somewhat frightening Uncle Fergus, a rather crusty sea captain:

An extraordinary bird is the Pelican.
His beak can hold more than his belly can.
He can store in his beak
Enough food for a week,
But I'll be deuced if I know how the hellican.
