Last Saturday, I was delighted to discover
a farmer at the market wearing overalls, but a week later, this fellow had upped the ante. Does Tom indeed plow the back forty in such fancy workwear, I wondered? No, it seems that he was drumming up support for a
Mardi Gras event, a parade and party: he and some cohorts are forming a Columbia Krewe, with a plan to make it an annual fundraiser for a farm-related charity. I do believe I'll put on a costume and go--to further my research, of course.
