Eco Couture....ATL

As you may know, I am a tremendous fan of the Columbia Design League's annual recycled trashion show, Runaway Runway. So I was thrilled to happen upon this exhibit of Eco Trash Couture while scurrying through the Atlanta airport. The dress above is made of Target bags....
....and was shown with this amusing coordinated headpiece.

This suit, an homage to the golden era of the flight attendant called "The Environmental Steward-ess", is rather wittily constructed from the pleather hides of discarded Delta airplane seats. The cape is made of those handy laminated safety instruction cards. There are a number of other striking creations, as well, all designed and assembled by Nancy Judd
